FAQ
I'm interested in your year long mixed media + collage art course called Fodder School. Should I start with Fodder School 1, Fodder School 2 or Fodder School 3?
For all of the information about Fodder School, click here. For the answer to the question, read on . . .
Each year of Fodder School has different teachers and different projects-it is all amazing!
Each month of Fodder School is a stand alone course, so there are no prerequisites. But, the more you do Fodder School months, the more leftovers you have, and those leftovers get incorporated into the new months, so there is an element of connectivity, but not in the traditional sense. It's more like "the more you do, the better and better it gets." People who do more months of content level up their skills, but there is chronological order to the lessons.
So, Fodder School 1 is not a prerequisite for FS2. FS2 is not a prerequisite for FS3.
I recommend choosing which Fodder School to start with based on your answer to one question:
Do you want to work on each month with a group of artists from around the world who can share their work on Instagram and in our private Facebook groups (social media sharing is optional, not required!)? Are you looking for a lot of social media interaction with other FS participants? If yes, the answer is FS3 because the first new lessons begin dropping on October 1, 2023 for that year long experience.
You can also join Fodder School 2 because we still have 3 more months when those lessons are "live dropping" into that classroom.
If you would rather work at your own pace (you can still be very active in a Facebook group, but you won't have the motivation of keeping up with a large group), then I recommend either Fodder School 1 or Fodder School 2, one is not better than the other.
If you have a lot of time for crafting, and you want enough content to keep you busy each week, sign up for all of the Fodder School years. Keep up with the current Fodder School lessons as they release each month, and then work through FS1 and/or FS2 at your own pace.
I hope that helps!

I'm registered for the Fodder Challenge 2023 but I don't know how or where to access the lessons?
Login here: https://willa-workshops.teachable.com/sign_in
or go to my website, https://willawanders.com, and you will see the "CLASS LOGIN" in the upper right corner of the home screen.
I just registered for the FREE Fodder Challenge and I didn't get the email about today's lesson.
Emails will go out each morning at 5:30 am EDT (New York time). There won't be any automatic email that you get after registration, but see above for login information and you can access the classroom at any time!
What if I miss a Fodder Challenge lesson?
Lessons are pre-recorded and you can watch them at any time before August 4, 2023 (see above for where to login to the classroom). After that, you will have lifetime access to all Fodder Challenge 2023 lessons if you decided to join us for Fodder School 3.
I'm logged in but the videos in the course won't play. What do I do?
Step 1: Clear your browser's cache.
Step 2: Come back to Willa Workshops and go to the course curriculum that you want to watch. The video should now play just fine. If it doesn't, send an email to [email protected]
I forgot my password (or I'm having login issues) and I submitted for a password reset, but I didn't receive the password reset email.
We are so sorry for your frustration! Before contacting us about your password reset nightmare (we have them too with other websites, we know!), try logging in here without doing a reset:
https://willa-workshops.teachable.com/sign_in
If that doesn't work and you have forgotten your password and the reset email is not arriving in your inbox or spam folder, go ahead and do the following
Step 1: Contact Wendy at [email protected] and let her know that you submitted for a password resent and did not receive a password reset email from Teachable.
Step 2: Let Wendy know your exact email address that you use for your Willa Workshops account on Teachable.
Step 3: Wendy will issue you a temporary password and email you back letting you know what your new, temporary password is.
Step 3: Login to https://willa-workshops.teachable.com using the temporary password that I send you by email.
Step 4: Now that you are logged in, you can do your own password reset in your profile by clicking on the circle in the upper right of your Teachable screen and navigating your way over to Password reset. Why don't you offer installment plans like other online schools?
I have tried the payment plan route multiple times and I have found that it is problematic for me. You see, people's credit cards fail . . . regularly. Maybe their credit card expired or was stolen and they don't think to replace the number in my system . . . or their credit card gets maxed out. Now it becomes another stress for me, and I just cannot be chasing after people for payments.
Are you familiar with PayPal's installment system? Anything purchased on PayPal (I think) can be paid for in installments. Also credit cards are natural installment plans. Of course you have to pay interest, which is exactly what would need to happen if all of my classes had payment plan options.
I could go on and on and talk about more options, all which would cost everyone more money for all of my classes . . . but I choose to keep the prices really low for what I am offering and not put the costs of payment plans onto everyone else who is buying my classes.
So that was a really long answer. Maybe my mind will change in the future, who knows?
But for now, can you use PayPal or your credit card to pay in installments?
I hope that all makes sense and that you know that this isn't a decision I have made lightly!
I need a receipt of my course purchase. How can I get that?
1. Login and click on your profile in the top right corner
2. Navigate to "Purchase History"
3. Click on "View Receipt"
